A193 Grade B7 specification is widely utilized in petroleum and chemical construction applications. The ASTM standard covers alloy steel and stainless steel bolting materials for high temperature or high-pressure service. This specification includes fasteners intended for use in pressure vessels, valves, flanges, and fittings. Although, this material is often available in national coarse (UNC) thread pitches, if being used in traditional applications, threads are specified 8 threads per inch (tpi) for diameters above one inch.

- Xylan 1070 is Solvent-borne, resin bonded high temperature resistant dry film with additional corrosion inhibitors, formulated for use on threaded components to deliver a wide range of performance characteristics in multiple industrial applications.
- Xylan 1070 or Xylan 1424 can be coated on the stud bolts.
- We offer different SOLUTIONS against ANTI-CORROSION, ANTI-PEEL and ANTI-RUST.
- SOLUTION: Protect your bolts with PTFE. Polytetrafluoroethylene or PTFE is an extra Teflon protection layer with an average thickness of 15-20µ which comes in several colors such as Dark Blue, Green, Yellow and Red. We can apply Xylan 1070 or Xylan 1424 coating on the stud bolts.
